Customers and vendors need to carefully consider having their event at Top of The Town in Arlington, VA. The highly limiting sound and music restrictions are not fully disclosed to their customers at the time they reserve the venue. If you want dancing at your event, Top of The Town is NOT the venue for your celebration!

I made the mistake of having my wedding at Top of The Town in June of 2008. I was made aware of the sound restrictions only after I tried to book a DJ that I had seen at a friends wedding. The DJ politely declined to accept my business, because of bad experiences at Top of The Town. I was devastated that I wasn't able to have this DJ, because he was much better than most of the DJs I have seen before.
The DJ I wound up using was ok, but not near as good as the one who turned me away. The management at Top of The Town made sure the DJ kept the volume low, which discouraged guests from dancing. I would highly recommend staying away from this reception site!
